Texas A&M sophomore Deborah Acquah placed second in the women's long jump with a fifth-round leap of 21-2.50 (6.46m) at the NCAA Division 1 Indoor Championships at the CrossPlex in Birmingham, Ala. Acquah, who set the Ghana national indoor record, equaled the mark of winner Jasmyn Steels of Northwestern State, but took runner-up based on Steels having a better second jump.
